Have you noticed how the London Boat Show in recent years has had a diminishing 'inland waterways' element? In fact this year's event was pretty much 'canal-free'. The British Marine Federation, the organisers of the London Boat Show, are aware of this, and want to hear from canal users - and narrowboaters especially - about what they expect from the Boat Show. A spokesman told us: "We are using our boat show database to find boaters but we’re in a bit of a pickle as our canal/narrowboat boater sample is low and we need a big enough sample to ensure it is represented well in our report.
