Long term narrow boat hire

What's the best way to hire a narrow boat for 2 - 3 months?

Some of the larger hire companies will offer substantial discounts for long-term hire; however, it is probably worth approaching a small company, as they might be more flexible with pricing.
Several fleets used to specialise in long-term hire, but I am no longer aware of them running boats- perhaps other readers could help?
