Should volunteers be involved in running the waterways?

Mike Palmer of the Waterway Recovery Group and Malcolm Turner of the Trent & Mersey Canal Society tackle this crucial subject in our August issue. Mike says yes - volunteers have so much to bring, if you treat them right. But Malcolm says the waterways should be properly funded by Government. What do you think?
