Cotswold Canals restoration is go - again!

At an specially called meeting of councillors last night, we hear that Stroud District Council vowed to press on with the Lottery-funded restoration of the Cotswold Canals, despite the withdrawal of British Waterways. 35 councillors voted for their council to become the lead partner taking the Heritage Lottery Fund project forward, with just three against.
