Crick Boat Show tickets go on sale

Tickets are now on sale for the Crick Boat Show 2016, which will take place on 28th-30th May at Crick Marina, near Daventry, Northamptonshire.

Aspiring boat-owners are set to benefit from a slew of new attractions, including boat-handling classes, a free Getting Afloat guide and a designated hub offering a wealth of practical information.

The three-day event is the biggest of its kind on the inland waterways. Although it already attracts a large number of visitors without previous boat-ownership experience, organisers hope the new area will make the purchasing process even easier for them. In addition to the complimentary guide and taster sessions on the tiller, there will be maintenance advice, licensing, insurance and mooring information, plus more than 40 new boats to browse for design and lay-out inspiration.

Crick’s usual complement of chandlery and boating accessory stalls remains, as well as the chance to chat to boatbuilders, attend seminars and enjoy a beer festival, children’s attractions and great food.

Advance tickets for the show, mooring spaces and camping pitches went on sale today, with savings of up to 20%. Gift cards are also available, so you can now "give Crick for Christmas". Evening entertainment is included in the ticket price and headline acts will be announced soon.
